I'm sure I have probably forgotten some fandoms, so if you see any glaring ommissions, please point them out. :O)

Random discovery for the weekend:

So I watched Princess Diaries 2 last night. Watching the credits I realised it was written by Shonda Rhimes of Greys Anatomy fame, which I didnt know.

Anyway, after watching it I was kinda in the mood for Mia/Andrew fanfic. Maybe its my love for Callum Blue coming through but I think they are really cute. So I went looking on LJ and couldnt really find any fic. So I went over to fanfiction.net - which is somewhere I almost never go. Anyway, scrolling through all the fics, I was shocked to discover the vast majority of fics were dedicated to Clarisse and Joseph. Dont get me wrong, I think they are adorable in the movies. I liked them better in the first movie than Mia/Michael. But I was just really surprised that the majority of fics were written about the 'grandparents' for lack of a better word. I always imagine people who write for fanfic.net to be 13 years old and I was confused by all the Clarisse/Joseph.

And for the record, there wasnt much Mia/Andrew love (at least not much that was well written).

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend. Long weekend for us, which means one extra day on the couch either writing or watching my Lost season 3 DVDs. :O)

I know with that is going on in fandom, not many people are likely to care about this post. No worries, move along, no hard feelings. But for those who want a respite from the madness or who wanted to hear about my night at the theatre, this is for you. :O)

So I went and saw Phantom of the Opera last night. I had never seen it on stage, only the movie.

It was so awesome.

Bad new first - Anthony Warlow was still sick so we had the understudy phantom. For those of you not in Oz, Warlow is the Australian Phantom. I was disappointed - but at least I didnt moan and groan like the rest of the audience when it was announced. Feel so bad for the understudy - he must get that every time.

And now for the good - it was so awesome. The stage and sets were mindblowing, the way they used the theatre was genius, the cast was awesome. Understudy!Phantom was great - though he did seem to struggle once or twice while singing. Maybe he just wasnt prepared to be performing every day of opening week. Christine - her voice was so amazing. She is so tiny! Everyone was really great.

I'm so glad I went and saw it. And my brother-in-law and I are planning on going back, as is most of the audience last night, coz we want to see Warlow.

I do have one stupid question about moving to another journal with all the deletions and what not. Wont most other journals have the same policies and as such what is to stop the same thing happening there??

Should I be concerned about my header? I dont think its too explicit or anything, but the whole fuzzy line for if a character drawn is underage or not, plus the fact it was drawn by Ponderosa, makes me a bit anxious.

Will hopefully be seeing The Simpsons Movie today.

I am a bad fandomer and almost never rec. Mainly this is because a lot of my friends who read the same ships as me are friends with or in the same communites with the authors whose stories I would rec and will have already seen them. But, because fandom is love, here are a few recs. Forgive me for the small list - I dont have much time, and I never bookmark or anything like that so I've just had to go from memory about good fics and good authors. I hope everyone finds at least one thing that they havent read that interests them.

Well, if I could only ship one ship, it would be Harry/Ron/Hermione. Hands up if you saw that one coming?

I love this ship becuase I have always said the relationship between the trio is my favourite thing in the book. I love their dynamics and figuring out how they can get together. Plus the ending of HBP was screaming trio! :O) But here are two of the best things about it. One, its kinda like four ships in one. Two, the smut is hot! ;O)

But I would really miss my Remus/Hermione. Lucky none of us has to choose only one ship. :O)
