On a completely unrelated note, they are bringing Spamalot to Melbourne. I saw the original Broadway version with Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce and Alan Tudyk. It was pretty funny. Although this is typical of my luck - went to NYC for the first time and wanted to see Wicked and Spamalot. Spamalot won over in the end for the Tim Curry factor but now they are bringing Spamalot to Oz and we are still getting no love for Wicked. Nah well, I'll be seeing Wicked when I got to NY in Nov so I spose it all evens out in the end.

Oh, and I have a new LJ subtitle. I will probably be changing it every month or so with some lovely song lyrics. A cookie for whoever knows where these lyrics come from (without googling *grins*).

oh MAN I want to see Spamalot!!! WOOHOO!!!! Will be in Melbourne when it's on!!! YIPPEE!!!!

I tried when I was in Toronto, as it was playing there, but after backpacking for 6 weeks I just didn't have the $75 or $90 it was a ticket, so no Spam for me. And OH the love of WICKED that opened a few months later or something.

And I have to say, btw, have I ever told you how much I like...

I saw both Wicked and Spamalot whilst in London, and to be quite honest, I enjoyed Spamalot more. Tim Curry is incredible--wish I could have seen the version with David Hyde Pierce as well! Still, Spamalot had me nearly rolling with laughter; Wicked was gorgeous and had awesome scenery and music, but I just had a better time with Spamalot. :-D

That artwork is breathtaking. Lovely way to start my Monday.
