Summary: When Harvey and Mike are called into Jessica's office, they're convinced she has discovered the truth about Mike's past. And she has, just not in the way they anticipated. It's revealed that Mike isn't actually an American citizen, and Harvey does what he always does: covers for Mike. He says the first idea that comes into his head, which just happens to result in Harvey telling the American government that he and Mike are getting married.
Authors Notes: So, this is AU because, apart from Mike's past, there are a few other minor changes. In terms of canon, only the events of season one occurred in this verse, so no one knows the truth about Mike's lack of law degree. Also, characters that are dead in canon are alive and well here because of reasons. (I wrote this before season three started, so Harvey's brother has a different name, and Gordon might be slightly different than in canon.)
This is 40k of domestic goodness and zero plot, so consider yourselves warned. :O)
It probably won't take you too long to work out that the core of this fic was inspired by The Proposal, but it's definitely it's own story.

"Well," Stiles clarifies, "you gotta remember how spectacularly awful all your other plans have been over the years. I mean, this is being graded on a significant curve. But it could work. I like it."

The statement was delivered without heat, a twinkle in his eyes, and Harvey couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't an accurate account by any stretch of the imagination, but before he could protest Mike was up off the couch and heading over to it. Summary: Stiles feels like he can't breathe with Derek looking at him like that. Stiles has always felt so small and insignificant under Derek's gaze, like he was just some lowly creature barely worthy of his attention. But now he feels strong and empowered and wanted. He desperately wants to know what's happening between them, what it all means and what it is exactly that Derek wants from him, but he's terrified of the answer not being what he wants (if Derek deigns to answer him at all). So instead he submits to his other desire: he crosses the room and sinks into Derek's lap as he presses their mouths together. [sequel to under the cover of darkness]
Authors Notes: So, when I posted under the cover of darkness and everyone started asking for a sequel I was completely blown away. Mostly because it was my first Teen Wolf fic and I honestly had no idea if people would even like the fic or not lol. But also because it was written as a one shot, and when the inital idea for the fic came to me it had an angsty ending, but I couldn't write it that way and changed it to what it is now, and that felt like a complete story. But you guys demanded a sequel, and the Muse came to the party, so here it is. I hope you enjoy it as much as the first one (even if the plot probably isn't exactly what you thought it'd be).

Summary: Even as Mike was saying the words he knew it was a mistake. There is no going back from something like that, but maybe that's what he wanted, that self destruction, a final fuck you to Harvey and the world at large. Intellectually and with the wisdom of distance Mike knows he should've done anything other than tell Rachel, that maybe his relationship with Harvey would've been salvageable had it not been for this one last thing. But now he knows that there is no way back from this.
That's it. It's all over. He has officially lost everything he cares about.
Authors Notes: Yet another in the 'Mike's secret gets found out/Mike gets fired/Mike quits' sub-genre which I have written a crazy amount of fic for. One day I will stop writing these fics.
Something to be aware of before reading: Since it's never explicitly stated how long has elapsed in canon (to be honest I'm convinced even the writers don't know) for the purposes of this fic the events of the pilot occurred in June 2011 and the season two finale occurred in February 2012 (this fic takes place directly after the season two finale). Just something to keep in mind throughout the fic.
Title comes from a song by Josh Groban called, appropriately enough, If I Walk Away.
A big thank you tosmartalli for being my sounding board/beta/fountain of knowledge for all things American/queen of contractions etc etc. I can't even begin to enumerate everything she did for me with this fic. Seriously. I can be the absolute worst sometimes and she somehow manages to put up with me and I don't know how but I love her for it. :O)

The lie had tasted so bitter on his tongue, and he never imagined lying under oath in this way. He could stomach perjuring himself to protect Mike, but lying to denounce him made his skin crawl.

Summary: He would be lying if he said he wasn't tempted. Because he has known Mike for a grand total of twenty minutes and already knows that Mike would work hard, could excel if given the chance. And more than that, he likes this kid, his bravado and cheek, the way he can give back as good as he gets. And Harvey only expected to find someone he could tolerate; he never anticipated finding someone he actually liked. But he can't do it. He would be betraying Jessica - she’s done so much for him, more than he could ever enumerate, and hiring someone with no degree is not a fine way to repay her. So as much as he wants to go back, to say, "You're hired, you start on Monday," he can't. He won't. Instead he says, "The coast is clear." [AU in which Harvey doesn't hire Mike in the pilot episode.]
Authors Notes: Ever since I started writing Harvey/Mike fics I wanted to write an AU in which Harvey doesn't hire Mike, but could never really figure out the story. And when I eventually started writing this I got about 4000 words in and hated it. I liked the idea of it, but the execution was just really terrible. When I mentioned this on tumblr, debating whether to just throw it out or keep going, everyone was really supportive, encouraging me to keep writing. So I did something I've never done before - I started the fic again from scratch, and it was ten times better the second time around.
So a big thanks to all my tumblr peeps who encouraged me to keep going (because I probably would have abandoned this fic if it weren't for you guys), and most especially to my dearsmartalli - who looked at my original draft and was a great sounding board and cheerleader and beta. You are my queen of contractions and I love you and am so very thankful for you.
(Also, LJ sucks and won't let me post this on one entry, so the fic is actually a one shot posted in two entries :O( )

Summary: Despite how long they have known each other (over a year), despite how well they know each other (better than anyone), Mike can't remember the last time he and Harvey were genuinely alone. And because Harvey is the most important person in his life, his best friend really, Mike wants to know that what they have is real, that they can still be them when no one is watching. And he has this theory, barely constructed and ethereal at best, that maybe if they did spend some time alone together, that they would discover the true bounds of their relationship...
Authors Notes: I started writing this before ep 2x10 aired, so as awesome as the whole 'Harvey and Mike get high together' sequence was, for the purposes of this fic just pretend the events of that episode never happened. Having said that, this doesn't take place directly after 2x09 either – it's set a few months down the track from current canon.
