First things first. I got my gift over at [livejournal.com profile] smutty_claus - it's Remus/Hermione art and its absolutely stunning.

Go check it out and be jealous that the pretty was made for me. :O)

Second things second.

We have a book title.

And no, I'm not putting spoilers, coz the whole world will find out soon.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Is it just me or is that title a bit weird? And talk about depressing - the word death is in the title for craps sake. But hey, no matter, I am still excited.

As long as she doesnt kill off Harry, Ron, Hermione or Remus . If that happens ... harsh words my friends. Harsh words.

Or Snape...she can't kill Snape off either or she's going to have an insane American storming over across the Pond to Crucio her. >:-(

Snape ... he is an interesting character (and Alan is love) but I wouldnt be too devestated if he didnt make it. I am quite intrigued to see what happens with him in DH - which side he is on.

Oh, he's an absolutely intriguing character to me (and not just because I adore Alan beyond words!) Snape is never going to be a nice nor a likeable character, but I do believe that he is firmly on the side of the Light. Until I read it in black & white, in JKR's own words, I'll not believe that he betrayed Dumbledore and the Order in the 6th book. Dumbledore was always so steadfast in his belief in Snape's loyalty; he never told Harry why but I think there is something, somewhere, that Snape did or said that cemented Dumbledore's confidence. Dumbledore may be the sort of person to tend to see the good in people, but I don't think that he would have been taken in by Snape that completely if there wasn't something there. The fact that he was so firm in his belief makes me think that we're going to find some things out about Snape that will surprise a lot of people.

Of course, that said, I don't think that Snape will walk away from the 7th book and I will undoubtably be in deep mourning for ages thereafter.

I LOOOOVE IT.

OMG *hides Remus* Nothing must happen to him!! If anyone deserves to be happy (& alive) in HP it's Remus & Harry.

I would only accept a death for Remus if JK wrote fluff about how he and Sirius can now spend eternity together.

Otherwise, I shall swim in De NILE FOREVER.

I'm right there with you on that one. ;-) Sirius/Remus = OTP It was bad enough when we lost Sirius; I don't think I could handle it if she snuffed Remus as well. O.O

I know!

Well, Sirius - at the time, I wasn't as huge a fan of Sirius as I am now, so it wasn't too bad for me. But Remus is like my Harry Potter one true love, so I don't think I'd cope very well if he died.

Remus/Sirius FOREVER!

Oh, I was just devastated by Sirius' death in OotP--I literally threw the book across the room! I've always loved Remus the most, but Sirius stole my heart as well. Then, when I discovered R/S, I didn't look back--that was the OTP as far as I was concerned. I haven't been able to write a S/R fic since then because I couldn't bear the thought of Remus having to go on without Sirius; my heart just wasn't in it.

LOL--I knew I liked you from the beginning! Someone who loves Tumnus/Lucy, James/Georgie AND Sirius/Remus?!? O.O Mind if I friend you? [livejournal.com profile] tattooedsiren and [livejournal.com profile] springfall_kg can vouch for me that I'm not a pyscho stalker or anything. Just a crazy-mad T/L, J/G, S/R shipper! ;-)

Yeah, I only really started reading R/S after Sirius died, so I wasn't as attached to him yet. What's funny is my subconscious seems to have known about Remus all along, because the username 'Alexi Lupin' is one I've been using since about 2002 - but I only really realised Remus was my fave character this ear or late last year. YAY subconscious!

I tend to just ignore canon in that resect. Whenever I write S/R (Drabbles mostly, I have a short attention span or something =D) I write it before Sirius died.

LOL sure!!

Oh, you're lucky in that respect! I fell in love with the idea of Remus and Sirius by the time that I finished reading PoA, and was diving into the R/S fanfic like a madwoman. LOL--the subconscious is a funny thing, isn't it?

I wish I could, but it's been a very difficult thing. Nearly all of my R/S fics were set in the future, after the defeat of Voldemort (because I do so love the Happily Ever After!) and the 5th book just blew all of that to tiny bits. Ahhhh, well...perhaps it's just as well since by then I was heavily involved in a HP-based RPG so that softened the blow to some extent. And now I have James/Georgie and Tumnus/Lucy, so I'm good. :-D

Yayyy! Thanks! :-)

Oooh, Ralph Fiennes. =D

R/S didn't really occur to me after POA, but I somehow stumbled upon fic. =D

Canon has absolutely no effect on my shipping. Even my shipping has no effect on my shipping. =D I ship contradictory ships all over the place. =D

I've never been much into the RPG - but I love Hidden Beauxbatons. The site always gets hacked though. *sigh* I was Head Girl last tim eit was up. =D

Yay J/G!!

The art? Gorgeous.

The title? Kinda sucks. I agree on your "death in the title" point.

P.S. This in no way represents my opinion on what the book will be like, I just don't like the title

*pets teh art* I so love it. :O)

I'm sure the book will be great - but the title... Who knows, maybe it will grow on us.

Perhaps it will... I hope so. It's kinda dark and depressing, but not in an inspiring-fic-and-theories way, like HBP...

weird indeed! That title is just so foreboding!

And, to make your fear rise - I think at least ONE will die out of the trio. AT LEAST. lol.
